Application Deadline
There is no official deadline for applications. We hire on a rolling basis from November to June, but the sooner we receive your application, the better chance you have of being with us this summer.

Longacre Expeditions’ quality staff comes to our program in a variety of ways. Regardless of how you find us, you will be asked to go through a standard interviewing process.

Step 1 – Complete our employment application. Before sending it, make sure that it has the following items:

• Application for Employment
• Legible copy of driver’s license and clear driving record
• Legible copies of current applicable certifications (i.e. Wilderness First Aid or W.F. Responder, CPR). If you do not have them, please state when you plan on obtaining these certifications.
• 3 Longacre Staff Recommendation Forms in sealed envelopes*
• Resume (optional)
• Photo (optional)

Step 2 – The Longacre staff will review your application in a timely fashion and will arrange a face-to-face interview if at all possible or, if not possible, a phone interview lasting between 30–45 minutes.

Step 3 – After the above is completed, our staffing coordinators meet to discuss which available position best matches with your particular strengths. You may bring unique experiences to the job, which we value highly. After we have determined a position for you, we usually email a contract and worksheet for you to peruse.

Step 4 – If you are happy with the offer and wish to join us, please call and let us know. If you would like us to reconsider you for a different position, please call and let us know. If you decline our offer, please call and let us know.
